-Firewire DV footage into Premiere
-Open After Effects, use bridge to locate premiere captured footage
- Tweek footage in AE, export as mov. using JPEG compressor (assuming I want this to be shown on DVD).
- Introduce AE'd footage back into premiere, fit accordingly into timeline
- Export whole using media encoder (mpeg 2 setting)
- Burn DVD

Looks slow and back to front to me.

Edit in Premiere as DV
Take only fx shots to AE
Export as DV
Re introduce fx shots to edit in Premiere and finalise

then many ways to skin the cat...

> Adobe Media Encoder
> Export to Encore
> Export a movie and use a mpeg encoder of choice (fom the "master" movie)

Sorry . I said dv because I was not sure what platform you were on (I suspect a Mac?)

I am on a PC so the shots I need to use in AEFX I export /import as .avi (uncompressed). You might use .movs (QT)
