Hello everyone!

It's been awhile since I've posted. Been incredibly bogged down with university work and what-not. Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong area but I guess this is one of those 'whatever else' type of threads... Anyway...

Without going into too much details, we are essentially producing a high-octane & somewhat commercialized action-thriller shot at the no-budget indie-student level by the Film & Photography Society at the University of California here in Riverside and are looking for any crew, particularly people with steadicams or crane jibs that could greatly enhance this film's potential.

As this is a non-profit flick catered directly for the festival circuit, we cannot afford to pay monetary compensation for services rendered. However, as you will be receiving full screen credits and thanks, I believe that this will be a wonderful avenue for exposing your abilities to the world as well as networking, marketing and showcasing your talents to like-minded filmmaking enthusiasts in the area.

Currently, we are equipped with a Canon XL2, Panasonic DVX 100A and HVX 200 with 35mm adaptor (Thanks Matt!). Specifically, we just need a steadicam or crane jib to complete the collection and give the film a much higher production value. Though any other crew positions are still available - Be they Gaffers, Makeup, Special effects (This film has lots of gore and gunplay), Scriptwriters, Supervisors, Actors, etc. Anything and everything goes.

If any of you have seen my previous films that I've put up on this site, including 'Countdown', 'Blinded', or 'Vendetta', you can essentially guess the type of caliber we're gunning for (No pun intended).

It will require over two weekends of shooting towards the end of April and start of May. Shooting is tentatively scheduled for May 5th and 6th with free meals provided for these two days. Here's the Synopsis:

Having long worked on a case for the past year, Detective John Larsen (Tentative name) arrives at the scene of a mysterious crime. Dozens of dead bodies litter the ground in what appears to be a violent massacre of a group of cops & organized criminals working together. Despite being advised against going in by his boss & coworkers, he goes in anyway. Teaming up with a gorgeous female Federal Agent, the pair work together and comb the crime scene in a bid to unravel a crime that could very possibly entail an intricately fatal puzzle of corruption, intrigue, and betrayal at the highest levels of the police force. A high-octane, fast paced action-thriller shot at the independent movie level, Counting Down (Working Title) is a film filled with spectacular gunfights, intriguing character development, & countless plot twists and turns that will keep any audience riveted to their seats.

Please do not hesitate to e-mail me if you have any further inquiries, feedback, opinions, suggestions, questions, or comments.

Thanks and I look forward to your e-mails or PMs.... Or you can post here to keep the thread bump haha  Have a great day ahead everyone!
