creto lights?

hey.

i just bought my first light kit. basically i picked a few lights out of a bunch this guy was selling - used, but functional.

so, among the lights i bought, two of them are "creto beam 650" lights. 650 watts, w/barn doors, $60 each.

they seem perfectly fine, but i've never heard of creto lights before, and i cant find anything online about em. so i was wondering if anyone here has some info/experience with these lights?

No kidding, an internet search turns up absolutely nothing. They better think about some more marketing.

i found this recently. this looks like an 800 watt version, but my lights look exactly the same as these.

Probably yes a UK brand. There are so many Red Head clone makers out there now that the light has practically become a commodity. We don't use Red Heads much in the states although they are starting to be seen more on Ebay these days so it may become a more common open face "hot light" in the near future.
