Creative Tension: MUST READ.

So, I just discovered Medium, the new social media platform from the guys who created Twitter and Blogger, and the first legitimate post I read on there was an excerpt from MASTERY, a book by Robert Greene about the methods and creative breakthroughs of historic figures from Darwin to Edison to Napoleon to Wagner. The book itself seems interesting, but this excerpt alone should be legitimate required reading for any creative person. It essentially takes a step back from the creative process and offers insight into why the frustration, and the brick wall we all run into on anything worth creating, is actually itself one of the most important parts of the process.

Take six minutes out of your day (love that Medium has an estimated read time for posts), and enlighten yourself.

"Creative Tension: How Masters Turn Stalemates into Creative Breakthroughs"

EDIT: Tried to take the "MUST READ" out of the title, so I wouldn't sound like a crazy person, but that didn't work, so...
