Hi,
I just finished post-production on a short film and, since I'm from a non-english speaking country, I wanted to create english subtitles to allow me to compete in foreign festivals. Usually, I hard code the subtitles by creating them in whatever NLE I use to edit the movie, but that forces me to create an alternate version of the movie... How do you guys do it and what is the best and most universal way of getting it done and accepted in all major film festivals?
