Creating archive file on MAC for PC

So heres the issue. I create an archive on my mac, burn to DVD its about 3.8gb archived, place the DVD in a pc, comes back with an error message - unexpected end to archive, very similar anyway.

The file is a self contained .mov file.

Could be anything- archiving back and forth from Mac to PC with .Mov can be problematic. I'd recommend putting the full .MOV on a hard drive and moving it that way.

Yes I gave up on it. But thanks for the heads up. Burning it to DL disc.

What exactly are you calling an "archive"? .Zip files? Those are fine, work both ways. But what are you actually archiving?

Yes just zipping up a file to fit on a single layer DVD. The file is a .mov. Just put it on a DL.
