Creating a video blog

Greetings,

I am in the beginning phase of starting a wedding/event videography business. Currently I am building a video portfolio and soon I will be ready to display some of my work.

Are there any recommendations for a good video blog host? I am considering choosing a simple WordPress blog and embedding videos from my Vimeo account.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Joe

So it seems that Wordpress charges a good deal for allowing video embedding, unless you host it (read admin it) yourself. WP *requires* substantial upgrades regularly because of code vulnerabilities, you often read (and I was victim) of an exploit (I was only two weeks late in upgrading, had highly secure password, etc.) and my site was *wiped out*. cost me countless hours of rebuilding, and I had a backup!

is there a better way? I use Vimeo, but would love to find a managed hosting site that does the security upgrades (like the non commercial WP site) yet doesn't charge and arm and leg, and allows advertising (which the non commercial WP site doesn't).

Anyone customizing something like smugmug to build a commercial site for a single practitioner?

blogger or tumblr if you dont want to host urself. embedded videos dont cost you bandwidth BTW.
