creating a "news style" chyron

Trying to figure out the easiest way to create a news style chryon - ie a translucent bar across the lower part of the screen with a name on it

Can't sort out a simple way to do it with livetype and have a bunch of them to do

Sure would appreciate any suggestions

Well if you don't need motion I would just do photoshop file with layers and FCP you can change the text layer. The other way would be to build the motion part in motion or AE and then just ad the text in FCP
