Creating a fake window

Hi.

My problem is as follows. I have this one non-moving take that should be seen through a window, but this wasn't possible on location.
Is it possible with AE to create a realistic glass pane and how should I do it?
The glass is supposed to be in close forefront, preferably in focus, angled not straight to camera, but a little to the left,
as the window is opened a little bit. The glass should cover the whole screen

And you guessed it, I'm a novice when it comes to AE. :cheesy:

Shoot a greenscreen (or any other color screen) through a pane of glass. Chromakey it.

Not everything has to be created After Effects . . .
