Creating a Fake Reflection/Shadow of someone who is walking toward camera?

I've done reflections of non-moving objects, but I can't seem to figure out how to do them of a moving one.

I'm doing chroma work, so I need to put in a reflection or shadow, but as the person moves toward the camera, the reflection gets screwed up:

I've used Red Giant's Reflection plugin (part of Red Giant Warp) to do things like that, it has a lot of nice options. But you could just add a copy of the video track, make it a 3d layer and then warp/shear/twist it to be a reasonable reflection. The plugin does all that but you could do it with AE's built in 3d support if you had to. You will have to animate the reflection plane location though to match them moving forward, I don't think there is any cookie-cutter solution for that.
