Crazy weather

We have a saying in Boston that says that if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes.

Never in my recent memory was that more true than it was yesterday. Here's the view from my window:

And 20 minutes later...

It went back and forth like this all day. One second it was near white-out snow and sleet, the next second, sunny and clear! Pretty crazy!

Ahem... yeah, thanks... it never broke 20 degrees here today. At least the only mudslides we have to deal with come in a bottle... but then again, with this weather we need 'em.

On Saturday, we had a total blizzard here. Visibility was zero, but the sun was shining so bright that you couldn't look anywhere without squinting. It was like being inside a softbox.

This winter has sucked. It's been colder than hell (-30 to -40 wind chills quite a few times).
