I did not say I don't think Adobe is not evil. I went through my desktop publishing rounds, and printers that required post-script card support etc... I just don't like what apple is doing to it's core followers. It got a bloated ego from finaly realising its position in a mass-market vs. niche market, and it decided to take a stance to be the latter, hence cancellation of Apple Developer program and it's conversion to a $99/flat, essentially worthless add-on (like Quicktime Pro), removal of Tech ID's and real apple certifications and farming them out to some 3'd party.Adobe started primarily as a font company. Remember the whole Postscript proprietary licensing it advanced? Remember when Helvetica ran $800.00?
Sorry, I'll have to disagree - and not the App Market only, the tunes/content market. Buckets of money. - but do read the next line.Beyond that, Apple's share of the app market for ipad/pod/phone is about 1%
Kinda of think this has nothing to do with dvxuser, and should be in the Cafe, if at all.
You're right this thread starts to look like a quazi troll-baited theoretical discussion now...
If someone could tow it to the cafe from the post-production forum it would be nice.
