Crap Actors

Lets not hate on the Queen. She does however keep getting cliche roles and nothing innovative but for a couple of million i'll dress in a monkey suit and sing I like to eat apples and bananas

I hate to say anyone is a crap actor, OK i'd be a crap actor.

Although I like many of the movies Goerge Clooney has been in I certainly don't get why people think he's a good actor. He's pretty much the same in every movie.

Its a little like Peter Fonda in Easy Rider, they weren't acting, they were just being filmed while they were riding motorcyles and getting stoned. Good movie, a good gigi if you can get it but non-acting.

I'd buy your Clooney assessment, if it weren't for O Brother...
""This place some kinda geographical oddity. Two weeks from anywhere"

HMM..DENZEL I LIKE HIM BUT YOU'RE RIGHT HE DOES THE SAME ACT,he always plays very assure of himself type kinda guy. but that's the problem i get these days going for a role thats totally different than the last role i played. they want someone to be that person. are they lazy and can't direct and just want that person who is the character. i started to send goofy pictures of myself, all of a sudden i'm getting calls for silly nerds which i never got before. always the bad dude the mean guy then when they meet me, they're surprized and say wow you're funny maybe we'll have another role for you. i play ethier role thats why they call it A C T I NG

The thing with acting is either one can or cannot. It's easy to spot and is not a case of someone 'Kind of..' being able to act.

I think all of them can act; even Keanu.

Actors are the first thing that will ruin your movie; not the writing, not the score, not the cinematography or editing... but the talent.

The second the actress says:

'Jump Magnum Jump !' you know it sucks.

Think Denise Richards in James Bond (however she isn't terrbile in Wild Things (or maybe it's her thong that distract's me), The cast of Clerks, Shaquille O'neal in anything, Mariah Carey, Hulk Hogan, Britney Spears.......................

all suck hard at acting and it is painfully obvious that it distracts.

vjbrennan, you right about O' Brother .

John, my wife owns an art gallery and Denise Richrads is a great and regular customer. I won't comment on her acting, but one of the this that is often said about great actors is their presence. Well, all I know when she's present my acting gets a whole lot better (more or something)...

Disclaimer - I'm not saying he's bad.

Al Pacino. He used to be great but lately I've noticed he seems to be playing Pacino playing a character. Sadly, I think DeNiro has also started to fall into this category, too.
Some of the biggest actors seem to just be phoning it in.

She's just awful IMO. But to each his own. IE: I think Clooney rocks... So there ya go I guess...

I didn't say she was the greatest actress but I'm just saying to she might do a better job if she didn't get cliche rolls. Of course that's my opinion for a lot of actors and actresses. What was your opinion of her in Chicago?

That could be very true. Her ego is what bugs me I think....

Never seen it - But if awards can speak for her...

She grates me so I'm likely not being very objective to her acting abilities.

Why does everyone hate Ben Assflack so much? I thought he was pretty good in Good Will Hunting. Cameron Diaz was good in Vanilla Sky and I though Reeves was perfect for the matrix.

I liked Affleck in good will..."REETAINER!"

HE was also okay in Chasing Amy...I'm not sure what other movies of his I've seen.

Diaz was good in "Being John Malkovich" but usually I find her incredibly annoying.

He's become awful. I've never been a fan, but it's just rediculous now,

If you want to see great acting, check out Burl Ives in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof". What a great performance...
