I will definitely rent this just to see the visuals but a lot of the reviews talk about the endless really raunchy, degrading stuff that I just don't need to see. I don't mind sex and violence if the film is well written and the sex and violence is there for a storytelling purpose but when it is just something that should have been left on the cutting room floor but was put back in to try to appeal to some audience by some studio marketing genius, ughh, I am out.
Actually, the making of on the DVD would probably be a lot better for me than watching the film.

I thought the endless really raunchy, degrading stuff was one of the things that made the movie such a blast. There are explosions going off, machine gun fire, people dying, bleeding, falling off of buildings, cursing, yelling, and the director goes. Hmmm. What does this scene need? Oh yea, throw in 8 naked girls and have them run around screaming.
I'm just an audience of 1, but it definitely appealed to me. IMO, the genius credit goes to the Directors, not some studio marketing person. The studio marketing guy would have been happy with a boob count that was half of what you see in Crank 2.
