Cranes!

Hey so i want to get a crane for my DVX.

The CobraCrane I Plus (10') looks like a good fit, but I've been reading that pulley systems may give you a jerky tilt. Is this true or is it just something that the other companies are saying?

What is the best 8'-12' crane for the money? I'm on a pretty tight budget, like everyone.

I was interested in the ProMax for a bit also but couldn't get a single user review.

I know the price is way over your listed budget but the advanta-jib lite is BY FAR the BEST mini jib on the market. NOTHING else compares.

I just can't think of anything that would add more value and..... mmph... i guess.... to my productions than a good jib.

i used a cobra II once and it was ok. i might say great if i hadn't used a porta-jib by losmandy. that was GREAT. only snag is, the porta with the extension and tripod is about 5 grand. for $400-$500, the cobra may be the best... i have been looking at the glidecam cam-crane 200. same price range and no pulleys. anyone have a review of this one?
