Cranes?

Sorry if this has been covered before...I'm the king of searching these forums and I didn't catch it.

Any recommendations for cranes?

Anybody recommend the Cobra crane? Disjecta's footage with it is fantastic. All I can afford is the Cobra I...is that a good one? Do I need a fluid head tripod for it to work?

Thanks for your help.

Re: Cranes?

ampro,

i own the cobracrane 1+ and the difference is the 3 foot extension. i use it w/ a bogen 3046 because of the centered gear which raises the crane even higher. head i use is a bogen 3063 and 3066. i prefer the 3066 because it keeps the crane much more stabilized because of the weight. great crane for the price.

Awesome thanks, I'm most likely going with this one...Any shots of yours that I can see using the crane?
