Craigslist Scam, E-mail Harvesting?

This morning I received two e-mails, from two different gmail addresses, 57 minutes apart with the same text:

"
Your ad fits my needs. Respond if you are still looking for work.
"

My intuition tells me to stay away, don't even reply. It's too vague, so I suspect it's from an overseas scammer. Thing is, it's the ONLY response to my ads for the past year, so I don't want to ignore it if there is any possibility of it being legit.

For me, anything that doesn't have specific information (location, job title, dates, etc.) is harvesting.

My thoughts exactly. It just looks fishy. I'll delete those e-mails.
Nearly 100% of the e-mail I receive via my web site is already scams for viagra, pills, mortgages, etc., even women looking for affairs. It's amazing the litter I sift through each week.

around 80% of all emails are spam! I wonder when somebody gets on the case of the big ISP´s who are making all the bandwidth money.....and I wouldnt be surprised if the spammers get a kickback:Drogar-Smoke(DBG):

Whenever you place an ad on Craigslist, your email starts receiving several junk/spam emails.

I even tested this out using a brand new email account. Everytime you place an ad.. your email is either exposed by hackers or re-sold by Craigslist.

My CL e-mail doesn't receive anymore spam than my other e-mail accounts that I have associated with other web sites I own. In fact, it's my business web site e-mails that receive the most spam. I have a weekly radio program whose e-mail receives more spam than all my other accounts combined.
The thing that annoys me is that 100% of the responses I get from CL ads is from scammers. Not one legit response yet. But I guess I'm trying to sell ice to the Eskimos here...
