A while back Cordell posted that he would offer a few review CoverLens, and I took him up on this offer.
I was originally sent an older version, (the current one at the time, but not the current one today), and I did some good testing and it worked superbly.
First off, I want to say how nice Cordell is to deal with. Not only did he send me this first one, but after I sent him a pm, he offered to send me the latest one, free of charge. Of course I also took him up on this offer as well.
Next, onto the gear itself. The CoverLens is simply put a protective case for your lens. It is very durable and I found it to protect my lens very well (no, I did not put it on and drop it, it is not magical.. :thumbsup
.
I used it on my dvx, and along with the included pen, white balance cards and cleaning cloth, I found it to be a valuable asset in my camera case.
I also found it to be very useful on other objects, slr lens, lights (while I would say it is probably not a good idea to turn the light on while the CoverLens in on).
Overall, the CoverLens is a fantastic product, and for $34.95, it is also a fantastic deal.
