Covering up an on-screen phone number without blurring

I've got an insert shot where a person is reading a text message from a phone, and I need to cover up or alter the sender's phone number being displayed on the smart phone touch screen for privacy concerns, using whatever features are native to CS4. Any advice on how to do this without blurring the image? Ideally, I'd like to copy segments of the colors on screen and transpose them over the digits. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'd take this into After Effects and use the 3D Tracker to cover the number with something - a different number (555-something), calling character's name, or even just black screen.

It'll be more difficult in CS4, though, without that tracker tool.

Bring it into AE CS4 and use Mocha (included with AE) to track the screen. Then you can replace with whatever you want

I don't have After Effects, but I do have Magic Bullet. I can probably poke around in it to find something that'd work, but any recommendations or other options I can pursue without After Effects?
