The 48 hour film fest hit Brisbane Australia over the weekend so a few of us who had never done anything like this before decided to get together and enter (I was Director, DOP, and editor). Ended up wth a cast and crew of about 25, which were all fantastic. We had two locations including a sound stage at Warner Studios, that we didnt end up using, as a big empty soundstage didnt work for the genre we picked (by throwing a dice) - Romance.
Had about 3 hours sleep Friday night and managed 4 Saturday night, then I edited all day yesterday. Dont know if I will do it again but certainly had a good time with everyone we had involved.
In the end I think we turned in something pretty solid.
Anyway, wanted to share some of our BTS shots. (If youre wondering why I have the raincover on the cam - well it rained :huh: )
