I like the first one compositionally but I think the lighting is a little too flat I would have preffered less of a head on flash. but yeah you always get awsome in regards to your subjects eyes.
Thanks guys. pest, sb-600 camera right. eg, i wanted a stark splotlight type of feel there, maybe i missed my mark, but what you call flat was intentional. the client wants to get these type of gritty street roles. I thought this would help.

Thanks man. The client always gets "the boy next door" roles. He wants the "dirtbag next door" roles. I think we got him a little closer to that objective. Anyway.
