Still looks good in my opinion. I don't see anything wrong wit the lighting here!

A bit too bright and flat in my opinion.

You see how the top of his head blends in with the dark background. A slight hair light or a rim light (which ever you prefer) could make all the difference in the world!

Not looking bad at all! I would argue about the 'looks flat' statement. This is a head shot, not a dramatic Caravaggio painting. Right?

If I were to do anything, I'd try to create those great cheek bone shadows and face definition on the other side of the face (flagging) and perhaps creep in both sides just a tad.

All slight changes. You've got the majority nailed down in my book.
