Countryman mic not working with G3?

After a few people couldn't get their Countryman B3's to work with G3, we figured out the problem. Sennheiser changed the wiring - doh!

Here is the update on the Countryman site:

In 2009 Sennheiser released the third generation of their Evolution Wireless systems, the G3. The G3 transmitters introduced a significant change in the microphone input circuit requiring an adjustment in microphone wiring. Microphones affected by the change have product codes ending in "SR" (e.g. B6W4FF05BSR , E6OW5T2SR, etc.)

If your Countryman microphone was purchased AFTER 06/2009: Your microphone with product code ending in "SR" will work as wired with all versions of the Evolution Series, including the G3.

If your Countryman microphone was purchased BEFORE 06/2009: Your microphone with product code ending in"SR" built before the introduction of the G3 Series may require some rewiring in the connector to achieve optimal performance with G3 systems. Rewired cables will work with the G3 and all previous versions of the Evolution Series. Please contact us for more information.
