how long are the connection cables with the mic? camera to subject distance for an up comming project requires about 15 feet. will i need some sort of extension cable for the connection? i will be using a xlr connection if i were to purchase the mic. i have two 30 foot xlr cable i use for music production, so will i be able to use these if they are required? any help would be appreciated.

I have a countryman. The provided cable is only four or five feet. I use an XLR cable... you should be able to use your 30-foot cables without problem.
