Countryman EMW peaked?

I have a couple of questions regarding a perennial favorite, the Countryman EMW lavalier. The EMW comes with flat, shelved, or peaked response. The shelved units are for regular use, and the peaked units are supposedly good for use under clothing. I am tempted to buy a peaked unit as the prospect of completely hiding my lav is an attractive/novel one.

With a peaked-response at 12kHz, will I be making a great (noticable) sacrifice in general sound quality?

Will I actually be satisfied with the quality when using this mic underneith clothing? I've never tried it with any lav and don't have very high expectations. Is this a trick best left to use in theatre?

Anyone have experience with a peaked-response EMW? Educated guesses?

Thank you,
Travis

shelve are also picked - but less , if you not going to berry your mics under very heavy cloths, the shelved are good enouth
