Using AE 5.5 std.
Let's say I have an object I want to move from way off in space (2000,2000,2000) to full screen. I set the keyframes. All looks good except I want to grab the first keyframe handles and diddle with them a little. On my monitor when I zoom out to see those keyframes they're tiny (can't grab the handles). If I zoom in I can't see the keyframes (can't grab the handles). I must have spit for brains because I can't figure out how to diddle with those keyframes that are "out of the frame".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can't you just input the nubmers manually? or what about setting the first keyframes not so small , then adjust your 'handles' to whatever you want, then finally, set your scale/ position keyframes back to the tinyest ( 2000 )

wouldnt' that work?

You can use the hand tool to move the work area as far as you want. Just activate the hand tool, go to your composition window, click and drag as far as needed. It has nothing to do with the scrollbar.
