Could you shoot a 10-episode web series with $2500?

I believe the bits were improvised, not written. Somewhere on the site I believe it was mentioned they cast/used improvisors, so I assume each apology is improvised (at least to some degree).
 
As a producer of 6 micro features over the last 10 years, I decided everyone would get paid except the extras who worked 2 hours or less, and was able to make it work. There were a couple of students who contacted me and offered to work for free (we still paid them for travel and some "intern level" pay). Both these talented students were in LA making a living by the time we made our next film. Cream rises to the top.
