I've been going through this site and dvinfo and I haven't been able to cull togethor a good definitive guide to how to make one of these adapters.
Most of the old threads link to broken links or have broken images.
I looked at the enormousapparatus site, and it dictates how it works and how to do it, but they don't specify what kind of close up macro lense to use. They don't say how they get a lense mount on the other side of the box, nor what lense they're using.
They don't say how to step down from the 72 mm leica to the whatever mm macro.
So. Can anyone knowledgable please explain, including stepdowns, step ups, empty rings the nature of the GG (uv filter with wax, focusing screen, 1500 grit filter?)
What lense are you using? Howd you get the mount for it?
Any and all of this stuff would be super helpful. We've completely lost much of this information and everytime I think I know what I need and what I'm looking for and go to the camera store, I am wrong and don't have everything I Need.
