Could this be fixed in post?

I posted a clip from a film Im working on and need some technical advice.

When the camera swings from the metal box inside the shed towards the young man, the young man looks back at the house then back towards the shed interior, I had to quickly compensate the exposure, which is evident in the shot.

Can someone take a look and tell me if this type of situation can be fixed in post, or should I re-shoot it?

It's youtube..sorry for the poor quality.

Thanks

Depending on the amount of detail in your source footage, you may be able to colour-correct your shot to compensate one way or the other for the change in exposure.

I wouldn't think the need to re-shoot unless it really bothered you. I would have likely shot two different shots and edited between them or staged the scene in a way that allowed both items to be seen in the same static frame (but now we're talking about personal taste and choices, not technical know-how).

Try adjusting the levels in your NLE to match the exposure as best you can -- I'm sure you can change it a bit at least.

Cheers,

I did shoot footage for the static shot option :) always gotta cover yourself.

but Im glad to know this is something that can be tweaked. The high def version looks totally different, almost 3D
