I've been editing footage of the most interesting 83 year old man, to sell locally in the upcoming arts and crafts fest, and I want it to be right. I've now been working on it for a couple of weeks, trying out different approaches, even scrapping and starting from scratch a couple of times (which is where I'm back to now), as it's some fairly difficult material to work with....I'm having to take out a lot of inconsequential rambling, and then trying to seam up the holes in as non-assuming o' manner as possible, and the moments just arent working together that well sometimes, so its taking a lot of trial and error.
Problem is, my wife thought it was fine on my first draft, but she just doesnt understand it like I do, she's just ready for me to be done with it and move on! But this DVD/VHS will be my first "announcement" to our fair town that I'm launching a videography business, and I want to put out the best first effort possible! Can some of you editors help her to understand the importance of sometimes needing to tweak 10 frames for 3 hours?
Gracias!
