Could anyone here give me an idea of how much it would cost to shoot a film on reversal film stock in 8mm, super 8mm, 16mm and super 16mm respectively?

I don't need anything really specific just a general ballpark estimate.

Also, how do these formats compare in quality?

I plan on shooting a 40 minute film for viewing on the small screen.

Just for a 30 minute 16mm film....first timer, so say 15:1 ratio =16,000 feet of stock = ~$4,800 just for the cost of film. My numbers could be wrong. I'm bad at math and I'm half asleep.

Quality of the formats is in the eye of the beholder.
