Corrupted JPEG file recovery?

Didn't know where exactly to put this.

I have roughly 500+ jpeg files from an event I shot and I got a call from the client saying they can't open the files and it looks like a pixelated mess of color. I go and check my computer for the files and sure enough the same thing... I've done this gig 4 times before and never had that happen. The gig is a straight forward burn to DVD at the end of the night deal... I got a little too comfortable and didn't check the files when I made the DVD, I just saw that the thumbnail was good and burned away. Learned my lesson, never doing that again...

Is there any downloadable software I can get that could possibly recover the files? I'm on a Mac. The memory card is long since wiped so any options with that are gone...

Wait... so where are you trying to recover from? you already copied from the memory card and it's been wiped? if so, you may not be able to do anything. The copied files may be corrupt and if that's the case, the only info you have is corrupt. If you still have the card then you have a chance. Check my post here for software:
