Corrupt vegas file?

Every time i try opening my lnintro.veg file i keep on getting this error.

It was working fine yesterday so i really dont know whats going on. Can someone please help me fix this i put atleast about 10 hours into that intro i really wouldnt wana have to do it all over again.
 
i noticed that if u take away the .bak away from the veg.bak file its a backup copy...whoever invented that i love lol.
