Correcting low light shot

I shot an interview last night with barely enough light. Didn't have an on-camera light just went ahead with whatever moonlight was available. Is there a way to correct this in FCP 3? I'm only worried about seeing the subjects face. Maybe I should post a frame-grab.

Re: Correcting low light shot

There isn't much you can do with a low light shot without having it look fabricated. If the whole scene or interview has it on it shouldn't be that noticeable. There's probably more filters, but here are a few to try:
1) 3 way color correction - try auto white, then if it isn't good enough, play around with the white bar.
2) Gamma Correction.
3) Brightness and Contrast.

Try them seperately. Good luck, hope it turns out..

Here are some stills. They are a little darker than how the actually play out. Feel free to download and work on them if you'd like.

Haha, I suck. Thanks!

Re: Correcting low light shot

You could make it purposefully crappy video looking by cranking up the gamma or maybe going to black and white? Dunno that's pretty dark ???

Re: Correcting low light shot

Yeah, I think your only face saver is to make it look dirty on purpose. Maybe try a posterize type filter or something.

YEP, make your mistake look like you did it on purpose. Bring up the gamma and play with 3wayCC.
