correcting ghosting problem (DVDSTUDIO PRO 4)

Here's a question for you dvd studio pro 4 experts:

I'm getting a ghost image blipping briefly at the top of my credit crawl in my short film. The blip doesn't show up when playing my timeline in fcp, but even still, I placed a few full frames of black above the offending blip area to heal the issue. So of course, I go to render another mpeg-2 file and yes, you guessed it, the blip still shows up. (this will teach me to use fcp's native crawl filter)

I can't spend time rendering mpeg compressions again and again and I really don't have time to create a credit crawl using photoshop. I want to know if there's a way to place a frame of black above the mpeg file in dvd studio pro instead. I figure that's the better place to heal the issue. If so, please tell me how (ie. does this black frame file need to originate in fcp and render out as it's own mpeg-2 file? Or can I use a photoshop file to do this?)

I guess the real question is, can you add multiple video lines in a dvd studio pro track? If so, how?

Please give details! Thanks in advance-
