Worst case scenario is that it gets pulled by Google.

Guess again.

The WORST case scenario is a $250,000 fine and a stretch in a federal prison. Plus any judgements from lawsuits.

Granted, the LIKELY scenario is just being pulled by Google. But a hefty fine, imprisonment, and losing your life savings in a lawsuit are also possible.

So.....is it worth it?

I've contacted the artist about permission to use it in a parody, however I have not heard back yet.

Keep in mind it's very likely the artist no longer owns the copyright. You need to find out who the copyright owner is, and talk to them.

One last question......are you going to be paid to make this parody? Or receive any compensation for it? If so, then there's a big difference between you and folks who just put parodies up on YouTube for the fun of it.
