CopyRight Protection

How do I copyright protect my DVD's. If a customer gets there product on a DVD, I want it so the average person cannot rip the DVD. Is there any affordable methods?

Thanks

DRM is evil, and you should not subject your users to it.

That said, commercially replicated DVDs can be encrypted with CSS if you pay for the appropriate licenses. Your replication company will inform you of the details.

Of course CSS was cracked long ago, and provides almost no "protection" even from the most average user.

Every Joe Shmock and his kid brother is able to ripp EVERY CD/DVD/BLUERAY and whatnot in a heartbeat by using widely spread and aviable software.

It´s a waste of time and money - there will never be such a thing like copy protection. As long as you can see and hear it - you can copy it.

any cheap lawyer will draw this up for ya. You can do it online a little cheaper but I have found paying an atty 200 bucks is worth it for the peace of mind.
You will then be properly protected and should any joe shmo infringe your copyright, again, that atty will glady collect for you.
