copy media to tape

If you record to HD instead of tape, is there a way to use your DVX to archive the media at the end of a job?

Ie, if you go to Media Manager, can you browse to your DVX and start recording from Mac to tape?

you mean hack your dvx to be a data tape backup drive? i seriously doubt it. i mean, someone with some pretty serious smarts could maybe write a hack for that, but it would not be easy, and it would entail putting new firmware on your dvx, potentially rendering it useless.
