I've been trying for 6 months to get a USB-ON-THE-GO Harddrive for my HVX here in the UK and failed miserably..... they just don't exist :(

Would a 'Copy Box' like this one .....

work with a large USB key (say 1gb) stuck in the other end to offload onto????
Cheers

A warning: every device like the one you linked to that I have found so far only supports USB 2.0 Full Speed, which has the exact same transfer speed as USB 1.1 (making it far too slow to be useful).

You want a USB Bridge with USB 2.0 HIgh Speed, which I have not yet found.

you should be able to plug in a USB drive to it, not just a USB key.

USB ON THE GO hard drives just don't exist here in the UK so I would still need to find some way of powering an attached hard drive.

Thinking more about this surely a USB key would be the prefered opion as it would hold a couple of hundred 4gb P2 cards (more than enough for anyone!) but as its solid state its substantially more robust than a fragile hard drive.
