Hopefully during 1st quarter 2013 is what we are shooting for. I have to go through another hardware revision before we get there I think.

I just checked the status of the Light Panels case, and the government site indicates a target decision Jan 7. How would a decision in LP's favor affect your product?

I recall some rather factious 'suggestions' such as listing the 'light' device for use in one's garage would move the product out of the 'industry specified' LP product... That may work for a generic vendor... but not for a company like yours which is targeting the filmmaking industry.

Would it delay the product intro, or just add cost for the licensing?
 
It would only delay or stop intro in the USA. They can't ever stop us from shipping from China to Canada, China to Europe, China to Australia, etc. Only from China to USA. Remember this is the US ITC that is deciding the case and they are setting the policies for what can be imported into the USA or not and what kind of tariffs might be on it. Has nothing at all to do with the rest of the world.

We haven't seen anything even approaching a reasonable settlement agreement from their side so can't comment on that too much. If there is ever a license then yes it would add to the cost of all the fixtures of those that sign the agreements.
