I am getting tired of only talking about 24p in the FCP forum, so I thought we could start a fun and light discussion on some of our favorite effects we use in FCP.
One effect that I used recently that I really liked was of a clip that I took a freeze frame picture of a person's face. I then keyed in the face to zoom, emboss, and "find edge" at the same time. The face ended up looking like a drawing which was really neat. Then, with that face in the background, I flashed some other pictures on top of the face, but you could still see some of the face in the background. It is hard to explain, but I really liked how an embossed, "find edges" picture looks. I will try to post a picture tomorrow so you can see what I am talking about.
Do any of you have any cool effects you would like to share? Or maybe it is not an effect, but some other cool thing you have done to your recent project that other should hear about. :
