Im in need of a screen shot or a list of values (in the order of cell 1-9) of the sharpen preset within the convulsion kernel FX in vegas - i need it as a reference so i can copy the values into the FCP flavor of the filter. any help would be appreciated.
 
thanks for the reply but its already settled. FCP's convolution kernel sucks anyway. increments are too large...10 - -10
 
try it out your self and compare. IMO, it does a much better job. select the sharpen preset and change the middle value (-16) to -20 - -50 depending on how much you want to sharpen the video.

I'm not a math expert and cant tell ya why its algorithm is better then unsharpen mask, but the main reason I use it is that it does a better job at bringing out fine details. i ussualy run it at -30 or -35.
