Converting XLR to Cigarette Lighter

[molocono]

Has anyone tried to convert a 4-pin XLR plug to a cigarette lighter plug? I don't want to go the adapter way, I actually want to snap off the XLR plug and slap on a cigaratte lighter one. I would appreciate any resources on the Internet that show how to do this. Thanks!

Re: Converting XLR to Cigarette Lighter

I've converted from Cigarette Lighter to 4 pin XLR, but not the other way. What help I can give you is the pin designation for the XLR connector.

Click on "4pin XLR (12 volt) power cable wiring diagram.
I hope this helps.
