Converting widescreen to 4:3 in CS3?

Is it possible to convert DVX-100A widescreen footage to 4:3 in CS3? Would a tiff sequence be the best way to import into PS? How would I create an action to repeat the conversion to susequent tiffs/frames? Any help is much appreciated!

Woah, slow down! Why Photoshop? You can do it entirely within Premiere, or After Effects if you want more control.

In Premiere, drop the widescreen footage onto a 4:3 timeline and then drop the footage in. When I tried it, it cropped it automatically for me. If that doesn't work, right click on the imported clip, select Interpret Footage and make sure that the pixel aspect ratio is set correctly.

In After Effects, just scale it until it fits properly. If you want to be more precise you can use the Transform menu after you right click to make it fit 100% of the composition size.
