Hi
I'm currently converting my show reel to widescreen for playback on a hd tv. unfortunatly most of our footage is 4:3 does anyone out there have any advice on the best way of doing this. I have currently transfered the project into a widescreen project and i'm upscaling the 4:3 footage to 133.3 percent. however it look a bit fuzzy when i do this should i use a sharpening plug in, and if so does any one have any advice on this
we are then intending to upscale this to HD as we are playing it back on a HD tv and we figured that getting a plugin or just making the conversion ourselves will yeald better results than alowing a real time conversion by the tv or dvd player...we were thinking that the best way to output this would be to use the DVI out put on a laptop to play the HD footage..
any thoughts much apreciated.. this is quite important to me, really need some advice from all you pro's out there.
thanks
