Hi there,
I've been here at work researching and testing various methods of conversion but can't seem to get things to work.
Basically we need to send our finished spots (QT .movs encoded with the Animation codec) to DG Telestream for digital distribution. Our spots are SD but Telestream wants MPEG2s with a bitrate between 10mb/s and 25mb/s (I guess to prep for HDTV outputs later on?). Filesize doesn't matter so we'll try to go with a higher constant bitrate. How can I do this? Compressor and DVD Studio Pro don't support bitrates above 9.2mb/s or so, ffmpegx doesn't seem to support anything high enough either, nor does Quicktime Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, and so far, no luck with Cleaner either. Everything is set up for DVD output, so high-end MPEG2s are tough to get. I know Flip4Mac makes Audition that can make MPEG2s that high-res, but the pro version is pricey. Has anyone had any luck with this? Thanks so much!
