Converting stuff in Compressor - no clue how to properly word this!

Hey, sorry for this post... I have no clue how to word this without it being too random for a search to work.

I have footage with different frame rates and resolutions. Some 1280x720 60p, some 1280x720 24p slow motion, some 1920x1080 24p, etc. The final project WILL be 1280x720 24p. The lower frame size and lower frame rate.

I have never edited 1080p stuff into a 720 project before. I have no clue how to "best" do that.

Is there a way I can just send my whole cornucopia of formats into one Sequence and then to compressor and have it make everything a good 1280x720 24p? Oh, to make this question more fun: I've never used Compressor in my life and have no clue how to get it to export anything.

Thank you for any help anyone can give!

Why don't you just edit at 720p24 and throw the footage on the timeline without converting? About the only thing you would need to do is use Cinema Tools to conform the 60p to 24p playback (assuming you shot that stuff for slow-motion use). Final Cut will automatically resize the 1080p stuff to fit in the smaller frame.

I had no clue it would resize it. I've never mixed resolutions before... I've also never used Cinema Tools!

Sounds easy enough though, thank you.
