I was emailed a number of files that are in PAL but that my clients would like dropped in to an NTSC timeline. They're already on my computer and they'll play in quicktime though with macroblocking when I skip back and forth - is there something that will convert them back and forth when they're already captured?
I have a computer at home with a video capture card so I thought I *might* be able to open them in a PAL timeline in FCP then send them out over the card and try to capture on my camera recording VTR in, though this I would imagine is not the way to go.
Any suggestions? They'll pay for me to take the files to someone who can convert them, but I just don't really have the time to go gallavanting around looking for someone to convert them, I'd much rather be able to do them on my mac (I also have a PC if that has a solution as well)
