Converting MXF files without losing any data?

I'm still having problems exporting MXF files on CS6, and I want to see if the workflow is more manageable with say... MPEG4. Can I do this without sacrificing any data?
Somebody bring me good news please!

You need to add more details to what you're trying to do. Why are you exporting MXF files in the first place? What is the codec? What is the original footage?
 
Canon XF codec (50Mbps 4:2:2) Original footage from C300. If it's not already obvious, my technical knowledge is very much lacking. What can I do?
