Converting .mp4 file to .mov?

Does anyone know of a way to convert a .mp4 file to a quicktime .mov file?
I have a video ripped from a DVD that is in this format, and Final Cut will not recognize it.

I've tried using a program called VisualHub which is supposed to be good, unfortunately it keeps giving me some ridiculous error message.

Thanks for any help,
Christian

Oh Luis you're right, I totally forgot quicktime had this ability.

I'm doing two different exports, one as a DV stream and the other just as quicktime, just to see which is better quality. Thanks a lot I appreciate it!

quicktime what? quicktime is not a codec format. it's just a wrapper. a quicktime movie could be any number of codec types, in the same way AVI for windows can be pretty much anything. if you're talking about a quicktime movie using the dv ntsc codec vs. dv stream, then the quicktime version is better. dv stream embeds the audio in such a way that fcp needs to render before playing. this is the format imovie uses, or used to use anyway.

cheezweezl, you took the words right out of my mouth. This is a rant I have to repeat a lot. It's really Apples fault for talking about "quicktime" files as if it were a format. It leads to endless why can't I open this Quicktime file...
